Solara Buckwheat (玄黃蕎茶) is a reserve-grade roasted buckwheat tea crafted for those who appreciate depth, precision, and quiet strength.
We begin with select kernels, soaked and prepared for transformation. Each batch is roasted in three stages: the first draws out natural grain tones, the second deepens the nutty body, and the final stage reaches a high roast that softens bitterness into layered sweetness. At every stage, temperature and timing are precisely controlled. Once roasted, the tea is left to cool slowly, allowing its full character to settle.
The infusion glows amber and clear. Its aroma carries the steady warmth of toasted grain, soft malt, and a trace of woodsmoke. On the palate, Solara is smooth and full, opening with wholegrain richness, followed by hints of roasted chestnut, molasses, and a measured, cocoa-like bitterness. The finish lingers with a quiet clarity and silken texture.
