Ruby Hibiscus (洛神花茶) is a reimagination of a classic — bold in color, layered in flavor, and crafted with care at every step.
Our calyxes are grown in volcanic soil, where warm rains and long daylight hours nurture their vibrant hue. Once harvested, the calyxes undergo a 72-hour fermentation in terracotta jars. This process softens sharp acidity, revealing a smoother texture and a fuller, more complex profile.
The resulting infusion is deep crimson and luminous. On the nose, it offers notes of raspberry, rosehip, and a hint of pomegranate. On the palate, layers of blackcurrant and rooibos-like earthiness give way to a clean finish touched with candied ginger. The texture is silken — a mark of the fermentation's precision.
