Jin Jun Mei (金骏眉) is named for its slender buds — streaked in gold and black — that curl like fine, arched brows. Grown in the Wuyi Mountains, a region famed for producing China’s most celebrated black teas, Jin Jun Mei carries the quiet prestige of its origin.
Harvested in early spring, each tender bud tip is gathered at its peak, carrying the energy of the season’s first growth. Guided through a attentive process of fermentation and roasting, the buds deepen in character — their golden strands darkening, their aroma unfolding. The tea undergoes a brief burst of high heat. This technique draws out deeper aromatic compounds while lending a subtle smokiness. The resulting infusion is rich and amber-toned, with layered notes of molasses, and tropical fruit, smooth on the palate and long in the finish.
